Figline Valdarno was a ''comune'' (municipality) in the Province of Florence in the Italian region of Tuscany, located about southeast of Florence. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 16,769 and an area of .〔All demographics and other statistics: Italian statistical institute Istat.〕 The municipality is the birthplace of Marsilio Ficino.
